Y todos quedaron llenos del Espíritu Santo, y comenzaron a hablar en otras lenguas, según el Espíritu hacían que hablaran. Unos reciben fe por medio del mismo Espíritu, y otros reciben el don de curar enfermos. Unos reciben poder para hacer milagros, y otros para comunicar mensajes recibidos de Dios. A unos Dios les da capacidad de distinguir entre los espíritus falsos y el Espíritu verdadero, y a otros les da la capacidad de hablar en lenguas; y todavía a otros les da la capacidad de interpretar lo que se ha dicho en esas lenguas. The day that I received the gift of speaking in tongues

The first time that I heard of prayer talking in tongues was in 2005. I was looking to purchase a car. I encountered a Pastor; who was selling a car. The car was not to my liking; however, we had a conversation regarding God. He told me that speaking in tongues is an easier way to talk with God. “Where did you learn it.?” I asked. He said that speaking in tongues is a gift only given by the Holy Spirit, and whoever wants it, may receive it. You only need to request it from the Holy Spirit. I asked him if he could pray in tongues for me. I was curious to know about it, and how it would sound. He closed his eyes and started speaking in his own language (of course in English). Then soon spoke in tongues. He did not pronounce a complete sentence nor understandable words. He spit out sounds not comprehensible. I tried to understand him, but I could not decipher words or phrases. The following days my curiosity about prayer in tongues was enormous. I researched speaking in tongues through the internet, Bible, friends, and people I know that spend a lot of time in churches. Yet no one was able to teach me how to speak in tongues. After many attempts, I quit in my desire of speaking in tongues. A little over one year later, I contacted a friend of mine from my own town, Acapulco, Mexico. We spoke about several issues. Speaking about God was one of those topics. I realize he has the gift of prayer in tongues. I spent hours over the phone talking with my friend about so many interesting matters. I tried to absorb all information regarding his experiences of how he received the gift of speaking in tongues. However, I still did not understand it. My friend told me. “Look, David, you could never understand the mysteries of God. If you cannot speak it, it is because the Holy Spirit does not want to give you that specific gift. But, he may want to give you other gifts. You may not have asked him properly. The most important thing, you must ask the Holy Spirit with humility.” My friend was right I never asked the Holy Spirit for the gift of speaking in tongues. I just tried to imitate the Pastor. Two years after meeting the Pastor, I felt the need to pray in that strange language called The Language of the Holy Spirit. I recalled that I started with this sentence: “Holy Spirit, I offer you my body to fill it up with your presence; I open my heart to let you come inside; I offer you my mouth and thoughts to talk for me.” Soon after, I started to speak prayer in tongues. I did not understand what I was talking about, but I was consciously moving my tongue. Suddenly, I wept like a baby and could not stop. In my mind, I desired stopping, yet in my heart, I sensed a feeling of joyfulness. I often closed my eyes and seen a red light flashing across my mind. I cried repeatedly. When I finished praying, what seemed like only five minutes. In fact, I had prayed over one hour. Most of that time, I had wept. Having cried made me feel better. From that time on, I like to pray in tongues at least 2 minutes every day. I also have learned that when you prayer in tongues for yourself, you reach a personal spiritual development. I sense that all my prayers are being listened. I have not doubt about it. Upon receiving the gift of speaking in tongues, I wondered how I could use it on behalf of other. I was concerned. I had many questions and no answers. Days later, I met a catholic priest, who also has the gift of speaking in tongues. I asked him, why does praying in tongues make me happy, but at the same time, it makes me cry? He told me that the Holy Spirit was working on me, and he explained it to me. “You figure out that your body is a washer machine, where you load the soiled linen. The dirty linens are your sins. The Holy Spirit becomes the detergent and bleach. These clean your clothing.” He said. “On the same way.” He added, “Your body was loaded with your sins, fears, grieves, and doubts. When you prayed in tongues, you received the Holy Spirit, who was cleaning up of your entire heavy load.” On the following days, speaking in tongues was a need. Now my desire is to use my gift on behalf of people. Therefore, I wondered how to go about it. One night I drove from Salem to Redmond, Oregon for a business matter. A friend of mine was my companion. The car stereo was on, but in certain areas of the road, the frequency was being interrupted. Therefore, I decided to turn off the radio. For miles, we were the only drivers on the road. At that time, I wanted to pray in tongues, even though I knew my friend would not understand a word that I was saying. After praying in tongues for about 45 minutes, I noticed my friend wept like a baby. “Cry is good and I am happy for you,” I told him, “You should be happy, because the Holy Spirit has touched you.” Later, he confessed to me that when I started to pray in tongues, he thought I was joking. He asked me if I could pray in tongues for his sick mother for God to heal her. “What is your mom’s problem? I asked. He said that the doctors did not know what the problem was. Her veins were so skinny that was necessary feeding her by tubes, and she could need a surgery. “Do you believe that the Holy Spirit is capable of healing your mother?” I asked him. “Only God can heal her,” he answered. “The Holy Spirit is God. Jesus is God. The Holy Father is God.” I replied. “But there is only one God. These three persons work like a team. Nothing goes to God directly, rather through Jesus, God’s son. However, the Holy Spirit is who makes the miracles.” I added. “Let me pray for your mother. I will pray for 77 days for her.” During the time I was praying for her, I sensed a heavy environment around me. I was tired and bored of praying. This happened four times during the period of the seventy-seven days and I did not know why. Nevertheless, I while was praying one of those days, a received a message from the Holy Spirit. It was a vision, this happened. I saw a door house, someone had knocked over and over, but no body opened the door. I immediately understood that the Holy Spirit had visited to my friend’s mother, but she refused to accept Him. Then, I contacted to my friend and I told him about my vision. “Your mother is not sick. She is very sad and feeling alone. However, she refuses to accept to the Holy Spirit” I told him. I strongly encouraged him to talk with her mother about it; she needed getting a confession and repentance of her sins; but the most important thing, she should accept to the Holy Spirit. Days before to accomplish the round of prayer in tongues, my friend called me to let me know that his mother had discharged from the Hospital. The surgery was not necessary.

La primera vez que oí hablar de la oración en lenguas fue en 2005. Yo estaba buscando comprar un coche. Me encontré con un Pastor, quien estaba vendiendo un coche. El coche no fue de mi gusto; sin embargo, tuvimos una conversación sobre Dios. Me dijo que hablar en lenguas es la manera más fácil de hablar con Dios. Sin embargo, nadie fue capaz de enseñarme a orar en lenguas. Después de muchos intentos, cese en mi deseo de orar en lenguas. Un poco más de un año más tarde, me puse en contacto con un amigo de mi propia ciudad, Acapulco, México. Hablamos acerca de varias cuestiones. Hablar acerca de Dios fue uno de esos temas. Supe entonces que el posee el Don de la Oración en Lenguas. Pasé horas en el teléfono hablando con mi amigo acerca de tantos asuntos interesantes. Dos años después de aquella reunión con el Pastor, sentí la necesidad de orar en aquella extraña lengua para mí, también conocida como El Lenguaje del Espíritu Santo. Recuerdo que empecé con esta frase: "Espíritu Santo, te ofrezco mi cuerpo para que lo llenes con su presencia. Abro mi corazón para que entres en el; te ofrezco mi boca y pensamientos para que hables por mí. " Poco después, comencé a orar en lenguas. Yo no entendía lo que estaba hablando, pero yo estaba consciente que mi lengua se movía. De pronto empecé a llorar como un bebé y no podía parar. Dentro de mi mente, deseaba parar, pero en mi corazón, sentía una sensación de júbilo. A menudo cerraba los ojos y veía una luz roja parpadeante que cruzaba mi mente. Lloré varias veces. Yo estaba interesado. Tenía muchas preguntas y no respuestas. Días más tarde, me encontré con un sacerdote católico, que también tiene el Don de orar en lenguas. Dear believer. If you have considered launching a journey of prayer of six hours straight, then, you have chosen an important decision that would change the course of your life. The Prayer’s journey of the Six Hours Straight, it has been divided in six steps, each step of one hour of duration. It is important you consider following these points below, before starting your prayer’s journey. 1. Establish clearly the reason of your prayer. 2. Establish date of starting. 3. Consider getting a fasting (drink only water) at least one day, but no more than three days. 4. You should say the prayer below, every night before to go bed until the time of the prayer’s journey. Prayer’s Journey of the Six Hours Straight. First Hour: 6:00 to 7:00 AM Set up of Altar and Confession. • Put down a Bible on a table as well as a white candle, incense and matches, Holy water, a white rose, a Holy Rosary and a book for recitation of the Holy rosary, Novena Divine Child Jesus and an image of Jesus Christ. Note: If you are not catholic, you may want to switch all these items at your preferences. • Wear completely on white cloths. • Offer your prayer to Holy Father for the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ; for his wounds, holy blood, and his resurrection. Visualize all these Jesus’ episodes. A brief story how I healed from diabetes

Forever, I will thank God. The God of the people of Israel, the God of Abraham, Moses and Jacob, the God of the kings David and Salomon. Forever I am going to thank Jesus Christ, for the merits of Divine Child Jesus’ infancy. Forever and ever, thank you Holy Spirit for the miracle to heal my diabetes. I bless you Holy Father to allow me carrying up a long of 25 years an uncured illness, and receiving your marvelous work. Thanks Lord. First, within your incredulity and secondly, I invite you to explore your own capacity of faith. Faith is anything that sometimes you cannot explain with words. For someone, faith is just to join two letters of the alphabet. Nevertheless, faith has not means when the mouth splits it and it is disconnected from heart. Faith is to believe, that is the miracle’s key. Yet how you can get it? First, you must ask it to the Holy Spirit. You cannot have faith if you are not filling up of the Holy Spirit. You may wonder where Holy Spirit is. Do I need to go to my church? How I can get faith? It is so simple as well as difficult. Remember the key is believed. The Holy Spirit is right there around you. Look! Stop reading and close your eyes, and asking Him a little bit of faith. How? In your own words, or if you prefer say this: “I recognize the God of the people of Israel as my own God, I recognize the God of Abraham, Moses and Jacob as my own God, and I recognize the God of the Kings David and Salomon as my own God. Holy Spirit I offer you my body to be filled with your presence. I offer my mouth and thoughts you speak for me for that I raise my prayers to you.” Remember having faith is to believe. Be aware if you renounce of Almighty Father does not happened nothing, if you renounce of Holy Son does not happened nothing, but if you renounce of Holy Spirit, you will have no faith, in this way not all you ask in prayer will be granted. It is the same if you have a powerful car in the middle of the desert, but if it has not gasoline, it does not useful at all. You need gas to get out desert. A person needs to have faith what prayer being listened for. The faith comes out from the Holy Spirit, because God is Spirit. The faith pass throughout your mind, yet it is storage in your heart. “It is only our own spirit within us that knows all about us; in the same way, only God’s Spirit knows all about God.” (Corinthians I: 2.11) One more time I tell you, faith is to believe, but you must also feeling inside of yourself; it is mean you should open your heart to God, because the Spirit comes from God. Once you have gotten a little bit of faith, then you would be ready to use your powerful weapon: The prayer. However, a prayer without faith, it is, as a tree hollow. “Whoever does not have the Spirit cannot receive the gifts that come from God’s Spirit. Such a person really does not understand them, and they seem to be nonsense, because their value can be judged only on a spiritual basic.”(Corinthians I: 2.14) Thus, I considered that my first step to heal from my diabetes would be to put down my faith in Holy Spirit. Previously, I have also described the process to make a prayer, which is posted in this blog, and one of those steps to the process were a spiritual and mental preparation as well as fasting During 30 days, I prepared myself mentally and spiritually prior to start my journey of prayer of six hours straight, Along 27 days, I repeated in my mind this thought: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I offer my fasting to Holy Father, Holy Son and Holy Spirit.” Well, three days before of my journey of prayer of six hours straight, I started fasting. It is point less to mention, so difficult is for diabetes people do not eat anything, I was not the exception. In the past if, I did not eat anything on the next hours after my first meal I got a terrible headache ever. Regarding to my spiritual preparation each night before to go to bed, I said this prayer: “Holy Spirit, I offer you my body to fill it with your presence. I offer my heart you come in. I offer my mouth and thoughts to speak for me. Come with me this night and every night until the time of my journey of prayer of the six hours straight. Amen” Dear believer. You may wonder why I took a fasting. The answer is for a spiritual cleaning, and be ready to receive the Holy Spirit. I put in my mind this thought every single day. “Holy Spirit, I offer you my body to be filled up with your presence” Thus, if I had invited Him to come into my body, then “the house should be clean.” I understand if the church is the body of Jesus, Catholic and Christians are the temple where God dwells. I believed that as if through the faith I could heal from my diabetes. The faith moves mountains. The faith makes miracles, but who really makes miracles the Holy Spirit is. Once again, I tell you a prayer without faith is like a tree hollow. I healed from diabetes through the power of prayer. The prayer feeds spirit. The prayer is fit for kids and adults, rich and poor. Prayer is not a privilege of social classes. Prayer is not a symbol, but it symbolizes peace and goodwill, the prayer is not a social organization but it joined millions of people in the world. The Prayer is not a military force, but it is the most powerful weapon in the world. Un breve relato de como sane de la diabetes

Por siempre, daré gracias a Dios. Al Dios del pueblo de Israel, al Dios de Abraham, Moisés y Jacobo, el Dios de los reyes David y Salomón. Siempre voy a agradecer a Jesucristo, por los meritos de la infancia del Divino Niño Jesús. Por siempre y para siempre, gracias Espíritu Santo por el milagro de curar mi diabetes. Yo bendigo al Santo Padre por permitirme cargar a lo largo de 25 años una enfermedad incurable, y recibir la maravillosa curación. Gracias Señor. Sé que es difícil de creer, principalmente para los escépticos, quienes no creen en los milagros. Por favor, les invito a continuar leyendo esta historia bajo dos perspectivas. El Espíritu Santo está ahí a tu alrededor. Mirar! Detén la lectura y cierra los ojos, y pídele un poco de fe. ¿Cómo? En tus propias palabras, o si lo prefieres pronuncia lo siguiente: "Yo reconozco al Dios del pueblo de Israel como a mi propio Dios, Yo reconozco al Dios de Abraham, Moisés y Jacobo como a mi propio Dios, y reconozco al Dios de los Reyes David y Salomón como a mi propio Dios. Espíritu Santo, te ofrezco mi cuerpo para que lo llenes con tu presencia. Ofrezco mi boca y pensamientos para que hables por mí; por eso elevo mis plegarias a ti. Amen."Recuerde tener fe es creer. Ten en cuenta que si reniegas del Padre Todopoderoso no pasó nada, si reniegas del Santo Hijo no pasó nada, pero si reniegas del Espíritu Santo, no obtendrás fe, por lo tanto, todo lo que pidas en la oración, no se te será concedido. Es lo mismo que si tienes un potente auto en medio del desierto, pero sin gasolina, no es útil en lo absoluto. Necesitas gas para salir del desierto. Una persona debe tener fe para que la oración sea escuchada. La fe viene del Espíritu Santo, porque Dios es Espíritu. La fe pasa a través de tu mente, sin embargo, se almacena en tu corazón. "Quien entre los hombres puede saber lo que hay en el corazón del hombre, sino, solo el Espíritu que esta dentro del hombre? De la misma manera solo el Espíritu de Dios sabe lo que hay en Dios." (Corintios I: 2.11) Una vez más te digo, la fe es creer, pero también debes de sentirlo dentro de ti mismo, es decir debes de abrir tu corazón a Dios, porque el Espíritu viene de Dios. Una vez que hayas recibido un poco de fe, entonces estarás listo para usar tu poderosa arma: la oración. Sin embargo, una oración sin fe, es, como un árbol hueco. "Quien no es espiritual no acepta las cosas que son del Espíritu de Dios, por que para el son tonterías. Y tampoco las puede entender, por que son cosas que se tienen que juzgarse espiritualmente."(Corintios I: 2.14) Por lo tanto, he considerado que mi primer paso para curar la diabetes seria depositar mi fe en el Espíritu Santo. Más tarde, decidí orar seis horas ininterrumpidas. Antes, ya había hecho una ronda de oración de seis horas ininterrumpidas. Cómo sane de un dolor artrítico de mi mano derecha. (Este testimonio se ha publicado. Favor de chocarlo en este mismo blog) me preguntaba que si ya había recibido un milagro, podría recibir un segundo milagro a través de la oración. También previamente he descrito el proceso para hacer una oración el cual sea publicado en este blog, y uno de esas etapas del proceso fueron una preparación espiritual y mental, así como el ayuno Durante 30 días, me prepare mental y espiritualmente antes de iniciar mi jornada de oración de seis horas ininterrumpidas, A lo largo de 27 días, repetía en mi mente este pensamiento: "En el nombre de Jesucristo, Ofrezco mi ayuno al Santo Padre, a Dios Hijo y al Espíritu Santo”. Bueno, tres días previos a mí jornada de oración de seis horas ininterrumpidas, empecé el ayuno. Es ocioso mencionar, cuan difícil es para la gente diabética no comer nada, yo no fui la excepción. En el pasado, si yo no comía nada en las siguientes horas después de mi primera comida me pegaba un terrible dolor de cabeza. En cuanto a mi preparación espiritual, cada noche antes de ir a la cama, meditaba esta oración: "Espíritu Santo, te ofrezco mi cuerpo para que lo llenes con tu presencia. Te ofrezco mi corazón que entres en el. Te ofrezco mi boca y pensamientos para que hables por mí. Acompáñame esta y todas las noches hasta el momento de mi jornada de oración de las seis horas ininterrumpidas. Amén " Estimado creyente. Te preguntaras la razón por la que me puse en ayuno. La respuesta es por una limpieza espiritual, y estar listos para recibir al Espíritu Santo. Puse en mi mente este pensamiento cada día. "Espíritu Santo, te ofrezco mi cuerpo para que lo llenes con tu presencia". Por lo tanto, si había invitado al Espíritu Santo de entrar a mi cuerpo luego entonces, "la casa debería estar limpia." Entiendo que si la iglesia es el cuerpo de Jesús, católicos y cristianos son el templo donde Dios habita. Yo creía eso, así como a través de la fe podría curar la diabetes. La fe mueve montañas. La fe hace milagros, pero quien realmente hace milagros es el Espíritu Santo. Una vez más, te digo una oración sin fe es como un árbol hueco. Yo sane de la diabetes a través del poder de la oración. La oración alimenta al espíritu. La oración es apta para niños y adultos, ricos y pobres. La oración no es un privilegio de las clases sociales. La oración no es un símbolo, sino que simboliza la paz y la buena voluntad, la oración no es una organización social, pero se unen a ella millones de personas en el mundo. La oración no es una fuerza militar, pero es el arma más poderosa en el mundo. Sin embargo, una oración sin fe es como un árbol hueco En la siguiente entrega, voy a hablar de la Jornada de Oración de las Seis Horas Ininterrumpidas divididas en una hora cada una. Sólo recuerda, debes de creer. Debes de tener fe. Esa es la clave.
